Bitcoin

• With my Spiral hat on, I try to be a helpful PM force in open source bitcoin, focusing on (1) elevating the role of Design in the community (2) trying to simplify bitcoin UX and (3) empowering all kinds of creative experimentation with this new money—all in the name of helping bitcoin become ubiquitous.

• Participated in the Presidio Bitcoin Hackathon where I built High Fives.

• Document the product journey in a Spiral Newsletter: Just a Lil Bitcoin Product.

• Many years ago, I started the Hello Bitcoin project to help educate people about Bitcoin.

• Other minor contributions from years past:

  • was one of many reviewers of the Bitcoin Consensus Analysis Project

  • helped edit Vijay Boyapti’s influential The Bullish Case for Bitcoin

  • have given presentations in my local community

• I’m an angel investor in Strike.

• Wrote about Parenting in the age of Superintelligence.

• Self-published a book with my son, and illustration help from DALL-E.

• Published a widely-read essay “Product Manager You Are… a janitor, essentially”.
